Employability
Are you passionate about making a difference in the care sector? Stockton Learning and Skills Service offers care academies at the Employment and Training Hub. The course, crafted by industry experts and care leaders, provides vital knowledge of adult health and social care to boost your chances of securing a job in the sector.
100% attendance over the three weeks is required. You will receive guaranteed interviews with various care partners, with all available job roles requiring the willingness to carry out personal care.
The Care Academy is delivered in-person over 3 weeks at The Employment and Training Hub in Stockton, Wellington Square.
Time: 09:30 am - 2:30 pm
Interview days 20 & 21 – Time: 09:30 am - 3.30 pm
Guest Speakers: Santander, Dementia Friends, National Careers Service, Pioneering Care Partnership, Stockton Public Health.
Interviews will be held on days 20 and 21.
100% attendance is mandatory to receive an interview.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course, all learners will receive an NCFE Level 1 certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care and a knowledge-based First Aid Certificate.
