This course includes a range of practical activities to support individuals to develop skills necessary for independent living. It is suitable for people who require assistance with everyday life but want to gain confidence and independence by learning skills such as basic cooking, home safety, personal hygiene, washing and ironing, health and fitness. Everyday use of maths, English and improving communication skills are embedded in all activities.

Independent living will be developed during this course through relevant topics and various learning activities.
