Learn how to better understand your personal wellbeing needs, with the opportunity to try out activities and techniques that lead to stronger physical, mental and emotional health, in a supportive and friendly environment.
Activities include: mindfulness and relaxation, food, mood and attitude, smoothie making, sleep workshop, poetry and creative writing, mandala making, aromatherapy and wellbeing goals.
The course encourages students to invest in their own personal wellbeing, and gives them the tools to be able to maintain this independently.
The course will run for six weeks, comprising:
- The key principles of Holistic Wellbeing – what are the mind, body and soul?
- Introduction to Mental Wellbeing – Relaxation and Resilience
- Introduction to Physical Wellbeing – Food and Nutrition
- Improving Physical Wellbeing – Exercise and Sleep.
- Introduction to Soul Wellbeing – Creativity and Connection
- Putting it all together and Celebration
There will be no formal assessment for the course, but students will be encouraged to keep a weekly journal and practise the skills they have learned at home.

Who is this for?
This course will introduce individuals to techniques and activities that will help you understand your personal wellbeing needs. In a supportive group setting you will experience the benefits of creative activity including art, writing, mindfulness and the relationship between food and mood. This course is suitable for anyone experiencing isolation, reduced confidence and poor physical, mental and emotional well-being. and would like to improve their confidence and experience stronger mental, physical and emotional wellbeing, whilst making new friends.

Students may progress onto Mind, Body and Soul 2 (developing the skills they have learnt and exploring holistic wellbeing in more depth), or further education.
