A SWAP is an intensive course where we connect an employer looking to create a skilled workforce for their business, with local people who are receiving unemployment benefits, and train them for the specific jobs available. A SWAP can last up to six weeks.
The courses are designed to help you train to meet the immediate needs of the business. As part of the course, you will receive:
- Pre-employment training – matched to the needs of the employer
- A placement with the employer so you can cement your knowledge and understanding of the role
- A guaranteed job interview with the employer
