These skills enable individuals to confidently use and manage digital devices and information.
Communicating online addresses essential skills for effective online communication. Participants learn how to use email to send and receive messages, create, and format messages, and manage their email accounts. They also gain knowledge of online safety and security practices, such as identifying and avoiding phishing scams, using strong passwords, and protecting personal information. These skills enable individuals to engage in safe and secure online communication.
Transacting digitally focuses on developing skills related to carrying out online transactions and accessing online services securely. Participants learn how to navigate websites and complete online forms, including tasks like registering for online accounts and services. They also acquire knowledge of online shopping, including searching for products, adding items to a shopping cart, and making secure online payments. These skills enable individuals to engage in online transactions confidently and safely.
