This will be a busy and varied role. You will deliver excellent customer service to the businesses we work with, helping to provide them with our carers. You will provide admin support to the team and promote our services to new customers. You will receive support and training and work towards achieving a Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship Summary

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Provide excellent customer service to a range of service users
• Promote the services of Lakewood Care Ltd to gain new customers
• Help with promotional work including social media campaigns etc.
• All expected office admin duties
• Telephone work
• Computer work
• Filing work
• Photocopying
• Preparing meetings
• Phoning care homes
• Coordinating care work for the clients
• Making and taking calls

Shifts to be confirmed.

You will also spend 20% of your time in off the job training. You will also be paid for time spent in training and this will usually take place at Billingham Community Centre.

You will have a ‘workplace mentor’ who will provide you with training in your everyday job along with information advice and guidance. You will also have an Assessor who will visit you in the workplace to observe you working and discuss the way you are working.

You will also spend 20% of your time in ‘off the job training’, where you will attend lessons at Stockton Council Learning & Skills in Billingham.

You will work towards a Customer Service apprenticeship which also includes Functional Skills qualifications in English and maths at Level 1 (you may be exempt from Functional Skills Level 1 depending on your previous qualifications)
