Hire an Apprentice:
“Unlock the power of innovation and invest in your company's future by bringing in dynamic apprentices ready to learn, grow, and drive success alongside your team”.
Did you know?
- Employing an apprentice has never been easier and there’s financial support and help available from the government?
- An apprenticeship is a genuine employment opportunity that allows individuals to earn a wage while acquiring specialised skills and knowledge tailored to a specific role.
- By hiring an apprentice, you invest in your business's future with talented individuals who have a formal contract with you.
- Apprentices can begin as early as 16 years old, with no age limit.
- Employers must pay apprentices at least the national minimum wage and provide on-the-job and off-the-job training lasting a minimum of 12 months.
- Apprentices dedicate 80% of their time to work and learning, with the remaining 20% allocated to training.
- Employers not paying the apprenticeship levy and hiring apprentices aged 21 and under do not incur training costs. For apprentices aged 22 and above, these employers are eligible for government funding covering 95% of training expenses, fostering skill development in the workforce.
