Who can become an apprentice?
You can apply for an apprenticeship if you’re:
- 16 or older
- Not in full-time education
- Live in England
Regardless of your background or experience, anyone with a passion for learning and a drive to succeed can embark on an apprenticeship journey to unlock their full potential. If you have a thirst for acquiring new skills and knowledge, whether you are a recent school graduate, considering a career change, seeking a fresh start in a new field, or an existing employee aiming to enhance your skills, an apprenticeship could be the perfect opportunity for you.
There are many different apprenticeships available across a wide range of industries and for a wide variety of job roles. As a paid employee, apprentices work alongside their studies, with day release for off-the-job training with the training provider.
