Kayleigh started her L3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship in September 2018. She was already working for the Multi-Disciplinary Service for Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and was gaining valuable experience. The department was part of an integrated team working with the NHS to provide support to clients. This was a very demanding and busy department and Kayleigh had the opportunity to develop her skills and knowledge in a variety of administration tasks.
Kayleigh worked hard to produce work of a high standard for her qualification and was supportive of her peers, offering support where needed. She also took part in the Apprenticeship Challenge for the Tees Valley and was part of the winning Team in 2020! Kayleigh is ambitious and keen to progress and was successful in gaining a new position as Business Support with the Catering and Cleaning Department at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. She began her new role during very challenging times at the start of the Pandemic, but quickly became a valuable part of the team.
Kayleigh’s work with the department has been key in providing an ongoing service to the schools and has required her to work with flexibility and great efficiency. She was able to apply the knowledge that she had developed on the course and skills from both of her roles within the Council, to achieve a very well deserved overall distinction in her qualification.
